Our story

Storybook Sunningdale is a nursery rooted in care, community and a love of early years education.

Originally opened as Dreamcatcher Children in summer 2015, the nursery quickly became a much-loved setting for families in the local area. In January 2024, the setting was acquired by Snug Nursery Schools and later joined the Snug Group. In September 2025, the nursery proudly became Storybook Sunningdale, marking an exciting new chapter in its journey.

We are the sister nursery to Storybook Montessori in Ascot, with both settings owned by Snug Nursery Schools.

Since joining the Snug Group, Storybook Sunningdale has continued to grow into a trusted and nurturing nursery where children and parents take their first steps towards school with confidence. We are proud to offer a warm and welcoming community where every child learns at their own pace, supported by a dedicated team who truly love what they do.

Our approach combines the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with Montessori-inspired principles, creating a balanced and inspiring learning environment. Children enjoy a rich blend of structured learning, creative play and outdoor exploration, helping to build confidence, independence and curiosity from an early age.

At Storybook Sunningdale, our team is trained to the highest standards to ensure every child receives engaging, high-quality early years education. Together, we create a fun, stimulating and caring environment where children can truly flourish.
